Who am I? I’m Alicea, owner of Alicea Rose Photography and a Minnesota photographer who specializes in maternity, newborn, baby, and family photography. I’ve been a Professional Photographer since 2011, am a proud and long-standing member of the Professional Photographers of America, and an Accredited Professional Newborn Photographers International.

My Plymouth portrait studio is located just off Hwy 169, just north of Hwy 394. It’s about a 30-minute drive from Delano, which gives your baby time for a little catnap before the session. I’m also happy to travel to you for your in-home lifestyle photography session, or your favorite Delano park.

Don’t have any particular outdoor locations in mind? I’m happy to recommend some of my favorite spots in the west metro area of Minneapolis, like West Medicine Lake Park in Plymouth. This beautiful family from Delano opted to meet me there for their outdoor portrait session for their baby’s one-year photos. We had taken their little boy’s newborn photos last year at my studio. It’s always so much fun having clients come back to me for first-year milestone sessions after the newborn session.

For his one-year photos, we captured a great combination of family photos, sibling photos, one-year portraits, and cake smash photos. We captured these in early spring before any leaves were on the trees, but it was too hard to resist finally getting outside after being cooped up all winter long!

We even got a few pics on the beach, which, along with the sunshine, made for some warmer feeling images. It’s hard to believe that Medicine Lake was completely frozen over just a few weeks before. The seasons change fast here in Minnesota!
