Newborn Photographer near New Hope MN
This beautiful couple found me while looking on the internet for a newborn photographer near New Hope MN. I’m so glad they found me and extremely happy I had a last-minute opening.
Their sweet little baby boy was born 5 weeks early and did a little time in the NICU before coming home. Sadly they missed out on having their maternity photos taken because their session was scheduled after the baby came. When mom contacted me I didn’t have an immediate opening for a newborn photoshoot, but I had one a few weeks out, which worked out perfectly since he was born early.
When babies are delivered early, I usually try to schedule the session closer to the original due date. Babies do a lot of developing in that last month in the womb, so it’s best to wait until then. This little guy had a little bit of gas and belly pain during the session, which is very common in newborns, especially when they’re born early. We just had to get him into positions he was comfortable with and lots of patting, rocking, and waiting for him to pass the gas and settle into a deep sleep. Once he did, it was smooth sailing, and he did so well for his newborn photos!
Isn’t he just the cutest with that head full of hair? I asked Mom if she had heartburn during her pregnancy and she said not really. It’s funny the amount of myths that float around about pregnancy!
Well, this is one of my last scheduled sessions of the year. Two more to go until I’m officially on vacation for winter/Christmas break! If you’re looking for a photographer for your family for newborn photos, baby milestone photos, or maternity photos, don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
