At my cozy Minneapolis Newborn Photography Studio, I recently had the honor of photographing a fearless, radiant single mom for a mommy-and-me newborn photoshoot. Behind the Scenes:

Mama kept things neutral with a light pink gown for her photos with her baby girl. I wrapped her sweet newborn in a matching light pink wrap to keep the images clean and simple, to keep the focus on the new mama with her brand new baby girl.

After the family photos, we moved on to the baby girl’s posed newborn images using a combination of pink, purple, and green for variety. She was a great sleeper, so we got lots of great shots.
