If you’re expecting a baby and are looking for a maternity photographer near Hugo, MN, I would love to work with you! Although I have a maternity studio in Brooklyn Park, I’m happy to travel to your home in Hugo, MN, if you prefer a maternity session at home.
If you’re lucky enough to live on a few acres of land that includes a west-facing pond with a small dock, then you’re lucky enough to have gorgeous Minnesota sunset maternity photos at home. Sunset maternity photos are my absolute favorite way to capture this beautiful moment in a woman’s life.
I love everything about this session; the dog, the beautiful maternity gown, the gorgeous light (there was an orange and hazy glow due to the fires in Canada drifting down into Minnesota), the wonderful couple, and their beautiful property that made for the perfect backdrop. The only thing I didn’t love was walking away with a few mosquito bites, but it was so worth it.
Even though sunset maternity photos are so incredibly gorgeous, it comes with a bit of a risk. Minnesota mosquitos! They are especially bad at dusk and near open stagnant water like ponds. We had both here, but like I said. It was worth it.
I always keep bug spray with me and a bottle of water for all of my evening sessions since it’s inevitable that it will be warm and we’ll be battling the bug bites. What can ya do? It’s all part of achieving gorgeous Minnesota Sunset Maternity Photos at Home (with a pond)
I’m so excited to work with them again at their newborn session and baby milestone sessions over the next year. They are such a fun and lovely couple. I couldn’t have enjoyed working with them more!
