Sessions are scheduled around your baby’s development—not a rigid timeline—so the plan adjusts as your baby grows. Instead of booking individual sessions, you’ll have a simple, guided plan that ensures every meaningful stage is captured beautifully and consistently.

How the First Year Baby Plan Works

Step one: Book your Plan

It’s best to reach out early in your second trimester to secure a spot for your maternity or newborn session to start your plan. A deposit and signed portrait agreement locks in your dates and rates for a full year!

Step Two: Enjoy your sessions

Before each session, you’ll receive an appointment reminder and a prep guide so you feel completely prepared. I’m also available via email, text, or a quick phone call if you have any questions. I’m here to help guide you every step of the way.

Step Three: Create your album

After the last session of your plan, typically the 12-month session, you’ll get to choose your favorite images for your First Year Heirloom Album. A finished, tangible memory of your baby’s entire first year—plus all of the beautifully edited digital images for sharing, printing, and archiving.

Your first year baby photography plan will include 3 or 4 sessions, depending on the plan you choose. Every plan includes a newborn session and one milestone session.

The best time to book is during pregnancy or shortly after your baby arrives. Booking early ensures priority scheduling and allows us to plan your baby’s milestone sessions in advance—so nothing gets missed as the year flies by.

That’s completely normal—and not a problem at all. Sessions are baby-led and flexible. We’ll schedule around your baby’s development, not a rigid timeline, so your images reflect where your baby truly is in that moment.
