I can’t tell you how giddy I get when I get an e-mail inquiry from a new mom or dad wanting baby milestone photos for their baby. I don’t know how many babies I’ve photographed over the past 3+ years, but it’s always such a privilege to see each and every one grow from a teeny little newborn to a big one year old.

This little gal is no exception, although we didn’t get to take her 9-month photos since this busy family was in the middle of selling their house and moving to a new city. But I’m so glad we were able to get her 12-month photos done on the weekend of their big move out of Minneapolis.

We met during one of the most hot and sticky August weekends, but lucked out with cloudy skies and cooler temps in the morning (although the humidity picked up and I was sweating bullets in no time). I love that we got some great family shots, big brother shots (check out his yoga moves), and of course, the sweet little almost one-year old. Isn’t she the cutest?

I don’t know if I’ll ever get to see them again, but I sincerely hope they keep in touch (and remember I do travel)! It was such a pleasure getting to know them, but I have no doubt this was a great move for them.
