This family of three came to my studio for their newborn photography session with their brand-new baby girl. I just love these images! In this post, I’ll explain why a studio newborn session is the best choice in Minneapolis.
Easy and Convenient Location
My studio is located in the northern suburbs of Minneapolis, MN in Brooklyn Park just off Hwy 694 and Boone Ave. It’s just a 20-minute drive from downtown. It’s a wonderful and safe space to create beautiful and timeless memories of your newborn’s first days.
My building is located in a quiet business park and is directly across from the Osseo Learning Center. The business park also happens to have (in a building right nearby) my favorite distillery and “speakeasy” bar, Skaalvenn Distillery. Do yourself a favor and make reservations (after the baby is born, of course). Enjoy a fun and unique date night experience with your honey. They make amazing cocktails!
All the Props are Provided for You
Everything we need to create gorgeous artwork for your home and timeless memories for your family is right at my Minneapolis Newborn Photography Studio. I provide soft wraps in lots of textures and colors, beautiful matching bonnets and headbands, and unique wooden props that are sure to fit your clean, simple, and timeless style. I also provide diapers, wipes, and pacifiers for the baby if needed.
Great Lighting is Key to Great Photos
Another great reason to come to the studio for your newborn photography session is lighting. Lighting is key to great photographs and not everyone has great lighting in their home. You need large windows that face north or west to provide the same quality of light that my strobes have in the studio.
Strobe lighting creates crisp, clean, and sharp images that will result in the highest quality images for your prints, albums, and artwork for your home.
Snacks Are Provided for You
Sometimes my busy mamas don’t always have time to eat before coming to the studio, so I provide snacks for you! There are also vending machines on-site and restaurants just 5 minutes away in downtown Maple Grove; in case you get a little extra hungry. Having your partner go on a coffee run gives them something to do during the 2-3 hour session if they get bored (it’s been known to happen).
So, are you ready to book your Studio Newborn Session?
Don’t forget to book your session in your 2nd trimester as my schedule is often booked 2 months in advance. Currently, I’m booked through the end of October and have limited availability in November and December. I’d love to work with you, so reach out today!
