These one-year baby milestone photos wrapped up this sweet baby girl’s first-year baby plan with me. We started with her newborn photos last year in the studio, followed by her milestone and outdoor family photos with her two older brothers and mom and dad last fall. A few weeks ago we finished up her one-year baby milestone photos back in the studio. Unfortunately, her two older brothers had basketball games that day, so they and her dad couldn’t make it for this one.
When she got to the studio she was clearly afraid of being in a new environment, which is very common at this age after the stranger-danger phase starts. It took some time and patience, lots of snuggles with her stuffed sloth, and some snuggles and food from Mom, but eventually she warmed up. She was all smiles, silliness, and goofiness after that!

Mom opted out of a one-year cake smash for this session but brought lots of cute clothes and props for variety. My favorite outfits for little girls are those ruffled lacy rompers. They make for the cutest first birthday outfit for the one-year photos. I found a similar one, or it might be the exact same one, on Etsy. So if you’re looking for one similar to the one she’s wearing in her photos here’s the link. I might actually buy this for the studio to keep on hand because I love it so much.

Soon I’ll be sending Mom the link to her album gallery with images from her newborn session, 6-month session, and one-year session. Coming to the end of the first year with my family is always bittersweet because I know I won’t be seeing these families as often after that one-year session, but it’s always fun to see which of their favorite images they choose for their keepsake album (comes as a special thank you gift with the Classic and Deluxe baby plans!)
