I’m officially on break until January 2nd! I just wrapped up my last session of the year with a Twin Cities 7-month sitter portrait session in the studio.
I was so excited to see this little girl for her sitter session since I hadn’t seen her since her newborn photo session. This was my 3rd photography session with her mom and dad; the first being their maternity session. It’s been so much fun getting to know them over the course of their First Year Baby Plan package. They really are just the sweetest, most easy-going, and most fun people to work with. It’s no wonder their beautiful baby girl has taken on the same wonderful qualities.
We got a lot of variety from this session since mom brought the cutest Winnie the Pooh stuffed animals, adorable outfits, and of course, the beautiful knitted blanket made by her grandma. I love it when clients bring in props that have special meaning. I think it’s so important to have photographs with these since most items end up being long forgotten about or very much loved (and maybe looking a little rough) as children grow up. This I know firsthand as my 12-year-old son still has his lovey from when he was a baby. Let’s just say we’ve gone through a number of band-aids to keep it together over the years.
Enjoy my favorites from her sitter milestone photography session!

I’m wishing all of my clients a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I’m looking forward to photographing all those beautiful babies in 2022!
