I rarely get to do 4 Month Studio Baby Photos, but this sweet couple requested an additional session to add to their First Year Baby Plan Photography Package. Instead of doing the traditional newborn photos, 6 month photos and one year photos, they opted for newborn photos, 4 month photos, 8 month photos and one year photos (on top of their maternity photos, which we did last winter).

4-month baby photos can be tricky. 4-month-olds usually aren’t on any kind of sleep or eating schedule and get tired out easily. It doesn’t take much excitement for that little body to wear out fast.

Luckily I was able to get quite a few smiles out of this little guy at the beginning of the session. As the session went on, he started to zone out a bit and it took a little coaxing from dad to get some additional smiles. But in the end, I think Mom and Dad loved the serious ones just as much as the smiley ones. I know I do!
