I’ve been getting a lot of requests to shoot weddings lately, which is a little strange because I don’t advertise it (besides a few blog posts) and don’t have any pricing for it on my site.  Behind the scenes I do second shoot quite a few weddings with other wedding photographers in the Minneapolis area and to date, I’ve shot and second shot over 25 weddings.

So, since I actually love, love, love shooting weddings, but not a full day wedding (with some exceptions), I’ve decided to add back in some Small Event and Wedding pricing to my website.  I’m in the process of putting together a slideshow of wedding photos and figuring out some pricing.  It will probably appeal more to the budget bride, who doesn’t need a full-day wedding photographer, but just someone to cover the important moments from the day.

My pricing and coverage will appeal to couple’s like Steve and Jill who were married last Fall in Maple Grove.  They just wanted someone to provide them with some nice wedding party photos, family photos and the ceremony.  They were very sweet to invite me to their backyard BBQ style reception at their home following the ceremony, but I ended up passing since I promised my son I would be home in time for dinner and to put him to bed.
