I can’t get over what gorgeous weather we’re having here in Minnesota!  I was able to do my first outdoor shoot on Saturday for a sweet little girl’s one year photos.  It was a bit windy and while the wind felt great, it didn’t do wonders for the balloons mom and dad brought to the shoot, haha!

It was really nice to return from our trip to Las Vegas last week to this kind of weather, since it rained every day we were there.  Seriously.  That was my 6th trip to Sin City and never once had I seen that much rain fall in the desert.  They even had flash flood warnings!  It was insane.  It did clear up just long enough to watch my big brother marry his sweetheart outside and then within an hour of their ceremony the rain started up again.  We were on a party bus, so we stayed dry for the most part (except for that little leak in the bus ceiling).  Vegas doesn’t do wet weather very well, since our hotel windows were leaking water, too.  Hopefully my next trip back is a dryer one!

It felt great to get back home to warm, dry weather and back to busy weekends with new and returning clients.  I’m now booked every weekend through June and am no longer taking any sessions during April, May or June, but am now scheduling for July, August and September!  Dates seem to be filling up rather quickly, so if you are looking to have maternity, newborn or baby photos taken, contact me soon!

Here is a share from this sleepy little boy’s newborn photos taken last Fall.  I made the trip all the way to St. Cloud for these ones.  I was super lucky to have a great day for a drive and a really, really good sleeper!  Enjoy!
