Outdoor Fall Maternity Photos in Plymouth, MN
Posted: November 4, 2018

This time of year can be tricky when scheduling and planning for outdoor fall maternity photos. All the leaves have turned and fallen to the ground with the cold temperatures and blustery winds of the season. But, timing is everything with pregnancy portraits, given the limited time we have to take them before baby comes. So, when mother nature throws you a cool and windy evening, you just have to go with it…and I’m so glad we did!

Originally we had planned this evening outdoor maternity session on the Saturday before. That day ended up being a cold and damp day with not a hint of sun to be seen. Looking ahead to the forecast, Sunday appeared to be more of what we were hoping for; dry air, warmer temps and some sunshine.

By the time 4:00 rolled around on Sunday and I was heading out the door to meet my clients, the clouds started rolling in. By the time my clients showed up for their maternity photos at the park, the sun was nowhere to be seen. I think we were both a little disappointed hoping for those gorgeous backlit images I love so much. But in the end their maternity session is one of my favorites of all time. {enter my heart emoji here}

I’m very much looking forward to meeting their baby girl next month for her newborn photos. But in the meantime, enjoy their gorgeous outdoor fall maternity photos.

If you’d like to book your maternity and/or newborn session with me, I’m now booking for January, February and March!
