I had this sweet baby girl in my Golden Valley studio for her posed newborn photos last weekend. She was such a great joy to photograph. When I first saw her I couldn’t get over her eyelashes! Her eyelashes are the longest I’ve ever seen. I love how they fan out across her squishy little cheeks.
We started this session at 10am, like all of my studio newborn photography sessions, but unlike the rest we were done by 11:30am. This session also included family photos, photos of mom and baby, and dad and baby, too. This sweet baby girl slept like a dream and didn’t wake up except for at the very last few minutes of the photo shoot. It wasn’t anything her pacifier couldn’t fix to help calm her back down into a deep sleep, though. Mom fed her in the car on the way to the studio, so that might have had something to do with it.
I absolutely love the color combination mom picked out from my props in the studio. Jewel tone colors in cranberry, dark green, yellow and cream don’t get picked all too often, but I love how they turned out. These colors are pretty popular in the fall. Lately I’ve had mostly purples, pinks, whites and creams, so this was a fun change of pace. Kind of makes me want to add more jewel toned props to my prop collection!
I can’t wait to see her again for her 6 month photos later in the year. She’s on my First Year Baby Plan package with two more sessions left to go. Mom and Dad are super fun to work with, too, so I look forward to seeing them all again at her 6 month baby milestone session.
If you’re looking for a newborn photographer and haven’t booked one yet, please contact me today. I’m normally booked out a few weeks to 2 months in advance. I’m currently booking for July, August and September due dates. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
