I’m so happy to announce a little change happening at Alicea Rose Photography!
A few months ago I decided to start looking for a new studio space. The space I was in just wasn’t doing it for me anymore. After a few months of shooting in that space I quickly realized it just wasn’t for me…or my clients. Unfortunately the studio was mismanaged, poorly kept up and I was finding myself doing way more work during and after sessions with “clean up” of both the studio and editing. I wanted to move into a studio to make this easier on me, not harder.
The timing was perfect when another photographer announced she needed some new studio mates for her current space…just 2 or 3 to add to this smaller and more intimate space. I quickly responded and got a little tour…and instantly fell in love with it.
The space fits my minimal and simple style perfectly! It’s all white with mostly neutral decor and furniture and has the most amazing natural light. The white walls and floors just bounce that light around.
Not located far from my old studio, the new one is just down the road, still in the heart of the Arts District in Northeast Minneapolis. A building full of other artists and photographers with a feeling of being truly “at home”.
Meet Studio 207! Located at 1330 Quincy Street NE (near Central Ave and West Broadway – easy to get to). I’m located on the 2nd floor; first door on the left. There’s free parking both in front of the building and on the street and it’s attached to the Architectural Antique store if you feel like doing any shopping after your session. 🙂
