Oh, how I love these winter warm ups.  How is it that 40 degrees in the middle of winter can seem so warm?  Ok, so it’s not let’s break out the shorts kind of warm, but I did go without wearing my jacket home from my lunch date today.  The sun was shining and there wasn’t any wind and it felt so nice going without the big puffy jacket in the car on the way home.  Oh, Spring…you’ll be here soon!

Around this time of year I really start getting anxious for warm summer breezes and the smell of fresh cut grass.  I feel I start getting a little bit of cabin-fever, or studio-fever, for my fellow photographers who feel my pain.  I love my studio, but this time of year can also be dangerous as I start to feel the need to prop shop in order to cure my studio-fever blues.  Anything to just to mix it up and add something new for a change of scenery.

In order to make room for anything new coming into the studio (and my closet at home) my studio mates and I have decided to have a little prop garage sale of sorts at our studio in March.  Perfect time to do a little Spring cleaning and make room for some new, fun and exciting props for my newborn and baby sessions!

And in between all the prop shopping I’ll be doing my best to get my last remaining sessions from 2014 blogged…only 6 to go!

This share is from some photos I took for this awesome family for their Christmas Cards.  Their daughter is always super shy and a little reserved at our sessions, but she did so well this time around!  She is such a beautiful little girl and I’m so glad I could capture so many smiles from her.  Enjoy!
