Not often do I get the opportunity to take High School Senior Photos, so when I get the chance I usually jump all over it. Last September I had the honor of photographing a childhood friend’s daughter’s high school senior photos. We had such a blast with her and her two best friends for her shoot. We had perfect late-summer weather and she came with lots of fun and great ideas with cute props and a few outfit changes, totally reflecting the kind of fun, outgoing and bubbly girl she is in every way.
This time, I had the honor of photographing my cousin’s high school senior photos. Coming with just two outfit changes and not a prop in site…she was fair game for just about anything. I’m in love with the simplicity of these photos. Strictly concentrating on her beauty, elegance, and sweetness that comes across in every single photo.
We did the entire session at my natural light studio in Minneapolis. Luckily we still had quite a few leaves on the trees and some gorgeous light for her outdoor photos, and a completely empty building giving us plenty of little nooks and crannies to squeeze into for the indoor ones.
Everything worked out perfectly and we had such a good time doing a little female cousin bonding, which we don’t quite get enough of. Hey, I know I’m not a teenager anymore, but I remember those days like they were yesterday!
