Meet the newest little Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Timberwolves Fan! This little man was born into a household with parents who are both Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Timberwolves fans…how’s that for variety? We had a sports-themed maternity shoot a couple of months ago before this dark-haired beautiful baby boy arrived, so I knew going into their newborn photos that a little bit of sports memorabilia may be involved.

We started out with family photos outside, which of course, included their fur-baby, too! We had a really nice morning for photos and anytime I can get my new parents outside for photos, I do. Not always easy to do in Minnesota with cold winters and unpredictable summers, but we lucked out that day.

After family photos and a feeding, we were able to get a few shots of baby James on my beanbag for some tummy and side poses. When we tried to switch things up a bit and place him on his back in a basket, he wanted nothing to do with it. We then tried to do some similar shots on the beanbag on his back, but again, he wasn’t having it. Soon we learned this little guy did not enjoy being on his back so much. It’s funny how you find out every little baby’s quirks during a photo shoot. With neither mom nor I wanting to push him, we decided at that point we got enough photos and he was done for the day. Sometimes that’s just how it goes!

We still managed to get a beautiful gallery documenting him with his mom and dad in his first few weeks of life and that’s what it’s all about! And now they have a great story to share with their little one when he gets older.
