As I’ve said before, I don’t shoot a ton of weddings for my own client’s. Typically I’m second shooting or assisting another photographer with their’s. So, when I do get an inquiry for a wedding, I rarely turn them down.
When Jeff and Kevin contacted me about shooting their wedding at Town Green in Maple Grove I was elated! That’s right in my own backyard! The original photographer they had chosen for one reason or another had backed out about a month before the wedding and they needed someone to fill in. Luckily I had that afternoon open on my calendar and was more than happy to help them out.
It was a very sunny and very warm August Saturday afternoon for which they had planned their small and intimate outdoor wedding with close family and friends. The beautiful ceremony was immediately followed by a champagne toast and formal family photos all held on site with a dinner reception held at Pittsburgh Blue (my favorite!) soon after.
This truly was a joyous day completely filled with love. And I believe, on this day, they were celebrating 20 years together. How amazing is that?
Congratulations, once again, and thank you for honoring me with your cherished memories from this most momentous occasion.
