What a beautiful Fall we’ve had here in Minneapolis this year! I’ve been able to get outside for a lot more sessions this Fall than I have in previous years. I mean it was 76 degrees outside yesterday in November!

One of my favorite sessions from this past Fall was this gorgeous outdoor maternity session we did in September. The colors hadn’t quite peaked, but we found a bit red color amongst the green and had the most gorgeous weather with a beautiful sunset at my favorite park.

I’ll get to that share in a bit, but figured I would give a quick update on availability. I’m currently booked now through the beginning of February. This time of year books up quickly with returning families and taking some much needed time off around the holidays. I still have some baby planners to schedule, so I can’t take on any new clients until February. This is why I always say BOOK EARLY!

One question I get a lot from new clients is “how many images will I get in my gallery?”. I always put a minimum amount of images in my pricing, which is typically an average number is the session goes well. However, most of my session will result in more than the minimum I list in my pricing. For instance, I say a minimum of 50 images in a maternity gallery. Well, this session resulted in 74 images in their gallery (and this is just the color images. Black/white copies are also included).

I try to give as much variety as possible. Since even something as simple as a smile, a hand placement and creative cropping can change an image, it’s possible even with just one pose, you’ll get 5 different images. Since my creative eye might be seeing something different that you’ll see, I want to make sure that out of those 5 you love at least 1 of them.
