I’m super excited to share with you these images from my very first Fresh 48 Hospital Newborn session. In my 6+ years of being a Professional Photographer, I’ve never been asked to do one of these sessions before and it was so much fun! As part of their First Year Baby Plan package, mom and dad decided to substitute their 6 month baby photos for the in hospital session shortly after their little man was born. We also did their maternity photos earlier this summer and will have their baby’s One Year Session next year.

These guys had their son at the Mother Baby Center in Minneapolis, which is right next to the Children’s Hospital, a place I know all too well. I was able to make it down the Monday after they had him, in fact they were packing up and getting ready to be discharged and go home when I got there, so we got these done just in time. Luckily, they didn’t have too long of a stay at the hospital (I was there for 5 days!).

It was so fun meeting him early because a few days later we did his styled and posed newborn photos at their home along with family photos with their pups. He was a newborn photographer’s dream! He slept so good for me and pretty much let me do whatever I needed to. Those photos will be blogged soon, too.
