It’s been such a blast photographing this little guy’s first year.  He started on my First Year Baby Plan at 3 months old, or maybe he was technically 4 months, and we finished up his first birthday cake smash photos a few months ago.

The one thing I love about getting to know these babies is now unique their little personalities are.  This guy gave me a run for my money at almost every session.  Smiles directly aimed at me were slightly limited, however, this little guy lights right up when mom, dad or his big sister tickle and play with him.  He is one of the most laid back little people I have met…although I’m told he’s a bit more active when it’s just him and his family…hmmmm…maybe it was me?

When I worked at the daycare there was one little boy I remember specifically that was very much like this, too.  Just quiet and reserved at a very young age.  It was rare to see him get overly excited and smiley, but he was always content doing just about anything.  Just incredibly laid back and easy going.  Sometimes that’s just a nice break from the average kid (like mine) who is a chatterbox and a little ball of energy from the time he wakes up until the time he goes to bed.  The quiet types will definitely balance out those wilder ones!

It’s always a pleasure to get to know these these little people and their families and I always look forward to seeing them again!
