I get to work with the most amazing couples!  This couple is no exception.  I met them for their maternity photos last month.  I couldn’t have dreamed up a more beautiful photo session for this country boy and girl (cowboy boots included)! I’m super excited about getting to work with them over the next year.  They are on my First Year Baby Plan.  Their little boy is due in a just a week or so. I can’t wait to meet him for his newborn photos!

For this session, we met at my favorite photo spot for sunset maternity photos at West Medicine Lake Park in Plymouth.  Not only is the variety in this park so great with the docks, bridge, water, beach, tall grass, etc., but it looks so different, especially in my favorite little sweet spot, each and every time I shoot here.  These maternity photos were taken just a few months before this session and this maternity session took place last Fall.  See how so uniquely different yet beautiful?  The soft, golden hour sunlight shining through the trees and over the tall grasses and wildflowers make for such a perfect setting for maternity photos that are natural, rustic and romantic any time of year.

Sometimes when I use this park, I’ll make the most of the little beach they have there. But on this particular warm night it was a little overcrowded.  There were lots of BBQ’s and parties going on.  With all the swimmers and fishers at the beach, we decided to stay on the quieter side of the park.  I could tell that was more in their comfort zone.  It’s not always easy getting a little private space in such a public park, but my hidden spot always does the trick!

Summer is already starting to come to an end.  The warmer days and nights are starting to dwindle down as we come into Fall.  I still have a few openings left in September and October.  If you’d like to take advantage of having maternity photos before your baby arrives, get it scheduled now.  Contact me today as my dates are filling up quickly!
