Baby’s First Year; 3 month portraits {Minneapolis Baby Photography}

When I worked at the daycare center, back in my senior year of high school until I graduated from college, I worked in a large room called “the toddler room”.   This room held up to 21 toddlers ranging in ages from 16 months to 33 months.  What I loved most about this room is that it had windows on each end of the room looking into both the infant room on one side and the pre-school room on the other, so I not only got to see my toddlers as infants, but to also see them grow into pre-schoolers.

During my 4 years at the daycare I saw many little boys and girls grow from 3 month old babies to 3 and 4 year old pre-schoolers each coming into their own with their own little personalities and uniqueness.  Watching them grow, change, and develop was really an honor to me.  There is nothing more precious and important than a child, and a fast growing and changing one at that!  It’s amazing to think that now these tiny little people I once knew are now graduating from high school and going on to college themselves.

Yes, I’m completely sentimental and a bit of a romantic, which is why I love when someone contacts me to capture their child’s first year milestones.  I’m always honored that a mom or dad would choose me to be part of their child’s life, that they would choose me to document this most important and fleeting time in their child’s life.  It’s humbling to say the least.

Each session isn’t just “another session” to me.  I truly can’t wait to see each baby grow from 3 months to 6 months to 9 months to 1 year.  I love hearing about their developments and milestones they hit and look forward to watching them grow.

If capturing these moments is half as important to you as it is to me, contact me today to schedule your Baby’s First Year sessions.  I can’t wait to watch your little one grow!
