So, I may be sharing sessions a little in reverse as I play a little catch up on blogging.  It’s been a very busy past few months with lots and lots of maternity, newborn and baby sessions along with a family vacation, volunteering at my son’s school, illness that fell upon us all (at different times, thank God) and just everyday stuff.  I just wrapped up editing and sending out my last few sessions and I’m not expecting another session until the second weekend of June.  My husband and I have some house projects planned, though…there’s always something that needs fixing up around here!

This share from my latest baby boy newborn photos has been one of my favorites.  This little guy was a dream and he slept like a log through most of the session.  He didn’t wake up until right at the end when we were to start taking family and sibling photos, which is usually fine as long as baby’s well fed and happy.  I had been dying to use my latest Etsy purchase of the blue pants and plaid hat set, so I’m really glad this little guy did so well during the photos.

It was also a super fun session since I got to catch up with an old co-worker of mine (the gorgeous curly red-headed lady below).  Yes, before I became a photographer, I worked in the corporate world as a Relocation Assistant at a corporate relocation company.  I had been there for almost 5 years when I left to stay home with my son after his CF diagnosis, so getting updated on people I haven’t seen in almost 7 years was a great way to pass the time while I posed her little guy for his photos.

I’m looking forward to seeing this entire family again for his 6-month photos!  I love it when clients sign up for the First Year Baby Plan, since it means I get to see them a few more times and watch their littles grow.
