A little sunshine after the snowstorm {Minneapolis Baby Photographer}
Posted: February 4, 2016

Ya know, I was actually enjoying this Minnesota winter up until yesterday after that huge snow storm dumped over 6 inches of snow here in Maple Grove.  I have no idea what the “official” total was, but it was definitely more than I wanted or was expecting.  I ended up shoveling our driveway 3 times in 2 hours just to keep up, so that my husband could make it up the driveway with his car when he got home after work.  Which, by the way, took him over 2 hours to get home for a commute that normally takes him about 30 minutes.

Ok.  Rant over.

I will say one good thing about all this snow is it will give my son and I something to do this weekend!  Snow castles and snowball fights are on the agenda. 🙂

I am glad the snowstorm came after the sessions I had this past weekend down at my studio.  I had a beautiful little one year old girl celebrating with  a cake smash session followed by a little ham of a 6-month old that loved to dance and rock out to music.  Those sessions will be blogged a little later, but in the meantime, here is a share from a past one year old’s cake smash session that was done a few months ago.  I love, love, love the colors in these.  Purple just happens to be my favorite color and I just love how her adorable outfit, balloons and cake all contrast so well with my studio.  White is so clean and classic and so easy to work with for any session.
