6-month photos in the new house {Victoria, MN Baby Photographer}

It was bound to happen, and it happened rather quickly.

We made it to the end of the 2nd week of preschool.  Kyle woke up this morning feeling and looking rather lethargic.  When I asked him if he felt ok, he pointed to this throat.  Ugh, a cold is on its way.  Bummer.

This is one of the many things we’ll deal with along the way with him going to public school.  I’m not sure if he actually caught a cold at school, or from the boys next door.  We have new neighbors that moved in over the summer and they have 2 twin 18-month old boys, who had colds earlier this week.  Kyle loves to play with them, and them with him, but they had caught colds last weekend while out of town, and Kyle really wanted to see them when they got home.  We’ve been so good about hand washing and sterilizing, too.

So, today Kyle’s at home resting and keeping it easy.  No school for him today, which is a bummer because it’s so incredibly nice outside; unusually warm for the end of September and I know he would have had so much fun playing outside with his friends at school today.  Oh well…I’m sure he’ll be just fine by Tuesday.

While he’s resting and watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, I’ll be catching up on work today starting with this blog post.

I honestly don’t think I can say much more about this family than I already have in past blog posts.  I just adore them.  I couldn’t be happier for them as they recently moved into a big, beautiful new home, which is where we ended up doing their baby’s 6-month photo session.  Their oldest son is such a crack-up, too.  I laughed so hard my face hurt at all of his shenanigans.  This family laughs their way through everything, though.  So incredibly fun to be around.  I just love them.
