I just love babies. Always have. Always will.
My love for babies started when I was just a little girl myself, all of 10 years old, working as an assistant at a home daycare across the street from where I grew up. I learned to change diapers, make bottles and simply just how to care for them. That started my 8-year “career” of baby sitting for neighborhood families and working as an Assistant Teacher at a local daycare center.
When I worked at the daycare center the majority of my time was spent with the toddlers, however, when I just needed a break I would go to the baby room. Heck, sometimes I would even take my lunch breaks in there! I didn’t care if they were all content or all fussy, I just loved them. Taking care of babies and children is so unbelievably rewarding. Working at the center was by far the most rewarding job I have ever had. The unconditional love you receive from a child is the best payment you can receive.
Photographing babies truly comes in a very close second; more like a 1st and a half. 🙂 It’s so satisfying and rewarding in so many different ways and still allows me to “take care” of my families and children in such a special way. Leaving your child’s care in the hands of another is the most trusting thing a parent could ever do, but trusting a photographer with these precious memories and moments is a whole other thing. These once-in-a-lifetime moments are so incredibly fleeting. All I can say is I’m humbled and I’m honored to be doing this for so many families. Thank you.
Enjoy these 6-month-photos of this crazy adorable little man!
